Corrections: How to Report an Error and What We Change

Short answer

Email corrections@striveleadgen.com and name the page, the sentence and your source. We review reports within 7 days. Errors that change a cost, legal rule, safety step or diagnosis are fixed first, dated on the page and listed in the log below. As of October 6, 2026, there are no corrections.

Key facts

  • Every number on this site must cite a numbered source; a claim we cannot source is cut or rewritten as general guidance.[1]
  • City rules change: San Antonio's foundation repair bulletin has been revised at least six times since 2010, most recently on April 7, 2025.[2]

How to report an error

Email corrections@striveleadgen.com. To help us act fast, include:

  • The page address.
  • The sentence or number you think is wrong.
  • What you think is correct, and a source if you have one. A code section, city page, standard or published paper is best.
  • Whether you are a homeowner, contractor, engineer, inspector or official. This is optional and does not change how we treat the report.

We read every report. You do not need to be an expert to send one.

What we review first

PriorityType of errorOur target
1Safety steps, structural advice, legal or permit rulesReviewed within 2 business days; fixed as soon as confirmed
2Cost ranges, numbers, data table valuesReviewed within 7 days
3Broken links, typos, unclear wordingFixed in the next update cycle

These are our policy targets. When a fix needs a new primary source, such as a city confirming a permit rule, we may add a note to the page while we wait.

Rules change often. San Antonio's foundation repair permit bulletin alone has been revised at least six times since 2010[2]. Reports of a changed rule are welcome.

How we mark a correction

  • Substantive fix (a fact, number, rule or recommendation changes): we fix the page, add a dated note at the bottom saying what changed, update the "last reviewed" date and add an entry to the log below.
  • Minor fix (typo, broken link, wording that does not change meaning): we fix it without a note.
  • Disputed point (credible sources disagree): we show both positions with their sources, as our editorial policy requires[1].

We do not quietly delete a wrong claim without a note when readers may have relied on it.

What does not count as a correction

  • Requests to remove accurate, sourced information because it is unwelcome.
  • Requests from a company to be named, ranked or promoted. No contractors are listed yet, and listings cannot be bought. See how we rank.
  • Differences of opinion on a repair method where we already present the options and their sources.
